Here are some of our favorite recipes. Most include pasta, because kids! I usually make 2 lbs of pasta and try to leave one plain for my pickier kids. (It also stores well for lunch the following day).
My friend Jessica turned me onto meal planning in September of 2019, and it has been a game changer! I’m not longer buying groceries multiple times a week with “nothing to eat” for dinner! Check out her site for more info, I’m definitely no expert.
We are usually out of the house from 3-7 (because kids), so I started making dinner before we leave. That way, when my husband gets home, he can just put whatever into the oven. Sometimes I use the slow cooker as well, then nobody has to do anything, and voila dinner every night! (I do try to keep a few things in the freezer as a backup.)

Macaroni & Cheese (I omit the egg)
Funeral Potatoes (family recipe from Missouri, but close enough in link)
Oven Baked Tacos (I tweak the proportions, but these are the best)
Strawberry Oatmeal Bars (except I use apricot jam instead!)
No Knead Rosemary Parmesan Skillet Bread
Foolproof Pizza Dough (I make this with sourdough starter these days)
Thick, Chewy Granola Bars (love using dried apricots!)
